**Question:** Which AI agent tokens have the most holders and on-chain trading volume?

- Kind: Table in Voltfin Strata
- Topic: [AI and agents](https://voltfincrypto.com/topics/ai-agents)
- Chains: Multi-chain, Base, Solana, Ethereum
- Status: Planned. The data is not published yet, so this page states no figure; each figure will open its receipt when it is.

AI agent tokens are tokens launched for, or by, software agents. Many come from launchpads such as Virtuals, where each agent gets its own token on a bonding curve before it moves to a DEX pool. This table lists them with the measures that are hardest to fake on-chain: how many addresses hold each token, how much it trades on DEXs and how its supply is spread.

Prices here are implied by DEX pools at a pinned block, not quoted from an exchange, so a token's value is what its own liquidity says it is. Holder counts leave out pools, launchpad contracts and burn addresses where they are labelled, which keeps a token held by a few large wallets from looking widely held.

Sort by holders, by 30-day DEX volume or by DEX-implied value, filter by chain or launchpad and open any cell to see the block, the pool and the reads behind the figure.

## Blueprint

One row: One row per AI agent token per chain, on the latest complete day

- **Token** (`token`): The token's name and symbol, linked to its contract.
- **Chain** (`chain`): The chain this token contract lives on.
- **Launchpad** (`launchpad`): The launchpad or framework the token came from, or independent.
- **Holders** (`holders`): Addresses with a non-zero balance at the day's last block, leaving out labelled pools, launchpad contracts and burn addresses.
- **Holders, 30-day change** (`holders_change_30d`): Change in holders against the same row thirty days earlier.
- **DEX volume, 30 days** (`dex_volume_30d`, USD): Swap volume in the token's DEX pools over the last 30 days, valued at oracle prices.
- **DEX price** (`dex_price`, USD): Price in the token's deepest pool at the day's last block.
- **DEX-implied value** (`dex_implied_value`, USD): totalSupply() times the DEX price at the same block.
- **Top 10 holders' share** (`top10_share`): Share of supply held by the 10 largest holders, leaving out labelled pools and contracts.
- **Launched** (`launched`): The date of the token's creation transaction.
- **Receipt** (`receipt`): The block, its hash and the reads behind the row.

## How it will be measured

- The token list is a registry of agent token contracts taken from agent launchpad factory events, with each token's launchpad and creation transaction; tokens from other sources enter by review, with their source.
- Holders are addresses with a non-zero balance at the day's last block, rebuilt from Transfer logs (SPL token accounts on Solana) and checked against balanceOf, with labelled pools and contracts left out.
- DEX volume sums swaps in each token's pools on Uniswap, Aerodrome and the main Solana DEXs over the last 30 days, valued through the pool's quote asset at oracle prices.
- DEX-implied value multiplies totalSupply() by the price in the token's deepest pool at the same block, from pool reserves or sqrtPriceX96.
- Every row carries a receipt: the block or slot, its hash and the reads behind each figure.

## Data it needs

- `agent_payments_daily` (to build): Agent tokens (supply, holders, trading) and agent payments such as x402 settlements in stablecoins, per day.
- `token_launches_daily` (to build): New tokens deployed per chain and launchpad per day, how many reached a DEX pool, and how many were abandoned.
- `token_holders_snapshot` (to build): Holder counts, top holders and concentration shares of registry tokens at a pinned block, with contract and exchange labels.
- `dex_swaps_daily` (to build): Swap counts and volume per DEX, pool and chain per day, decoded from Swap events, valued with stablecoin legs and oracle prices.
- `dex_liquidity_daily` (to build): Liquidity held by each DEX pool at day end, in tokens and valued in USD, with fee tier and pool age.
- Source: Agent launchpad factory token-creation events (Virtuals on Base and Solana, and other agent launchpads)
- Source: ERC-20 Transfer logs and SPL token accounts at day-end blocks and slots, for holders
- Source: Uniswap v2, v3 and v4 and Aerodrome Swap events, and Solana DEX swaps, for volume
- Source: Pool reserves or sqrtPriceX96 at the snapshot block, for the DEX-implied price
- Source: totalSupply() of each token at day-end blocks

## Questions

### What are AI agent tokens?

Tokens tied to a software agent or to an agent framework. Some are issued through agent launchpads, where the token funds and governs one agent; others belong to the frameworks or networks agents run on. This table covers the tokens in its registry and names the launchpad of each.

### How are AI agent tokens launched on Virtuals?

A creator launches an agent token on a bonding curve paired with VIRTUAL. Once buyers have put enough VIRTUAL into the curve, the token graduates to a DEX pool and trades there like any other token.

### Why rank AI agent tokens by holders instead of market cap?

Market cap multiplies supply by the last price, which very thin liquidity can set. Holder counts and DEX volume show how many addresses own a token and how much it actually trades, which are harder to inflate. The table shows all three so they can be read together.

### Do holder counts include exchange and pool wallets?

Labelled DEX pools, launchpad contracts and burn addresses are left out. Exchange wallets count once each, though one exchange wallet can hold tokens for many customers, so holder counts understate the people behind exchange balances.

### Does the table include trading on centralized exchanges?

No. It measures on-chain activity of tokens with contracts on Base, Solana and Ethereum. Trading on centralized exchanges does not appear on-chain, so a token's DEX volume can be small even when it trades heavily elsewhere.

## Glossary

- **Bonding curve**: A contract that sells a new token at a price that rises with each purchase, used by launchpads before a token has a DEX pool.
- **Graduation**: The moment a launchpad token leaves its bonding curve and gets a DEX pool, after buyers have put enough into the curve.
- **DEX-implied value**: Total supply times the token's price in its deepest DEX pool at a pinned block.
