**Question:** What are Azuki NFTs selling for, how long do holders keep them and how much ANIME did holders claim?

- Kind: Dashboard in Voltfin Vantage
- Topic: [NFTs and gaming](https://voltfincrypto.com/topics/nft-gaming)
- Chains: Ethereum, Arbitrum
- Status: Planned. The data is not published yet, so this page states no figure; each figure will open its receipt when it is.

Azuki is an Ethereum NFT collection launched in January 2022 by Chiru Labs, the team that wrote ERC-721A, a version of the NFT standard that makes minting several tokens at once far cheaper. The brand grew into BEANZ, a companion collection claimed by Azuki holders, and Azuki Elementals, released in 2023. All three trade on Ethereum, so their sales and holders can be counted from their contracts.

In January 2025 the Animecoin Foundation launched ANIME on Ethereum and Arbitrum, with the largest allocation set aside for the Azuki community, claimed on Arbitrum by holders of Azuki, Elementals and BEANZ. This dashboard shows what each collection sold for, how long current holders have held and how much of the community allocation was actually claimed.

## Blueprint

### Market

What Azuki, Elementals and BEANZ sold for.

- **Low sale, 7 days** (ETH): The lowest price an Azuki sold for in the last seven days, wash trades excluded.
- **Median sale, 7 days** (ETH): Median price of Azuki sales in the last seven days.
- **Sales, 30 days** (count): Azuki sales in the last 30 days, with distinct buyers beside the count.
- **Elementals median sale** (ETH): Median price of Azuki Elementals sales in the last seven days.
- **Azuki, Elementals and BEANZ sales by week** (USD): Weekly sales value of Azuki, Elementals and BEANZ over the period.

### Holders and ANIME

Who holds, for how long and what the community claimed.

- **Azuki holders** (count): Distinct addresses holding at least one Azuki at the latest block.
- **Held by the top ten** (%): Share of Azuki held by the ten largest addresses, marketplaces and vaults excluded.
- **ANIME claimed** (%): Share of the ANIME allocation for Azuki, Elementals and BEANZ holders that was claimed on Arbitrum.
- **Hold more than one collection** (count): Addresses holding an Azuki and at least one Elemental or BEAN at the latest block.
- **Time held** (count): Azuki grouped by time since they last moved to their current owner, in bands from under a month to more than three years.

Filters: Period (Last 7 days, 30 days or 12 months).

## How it will be measured

- Sales of Azuki, Elementals and BEANZ are decoded from marketplace fills on Ethereum, paired with each token's Transfer event, with wash trades flagged and left out.
- ERC-721A still emits a Transfer event for every token minted in a batch, so holders are rebuilt from Transfer logs and checked against ownerOf at the same block.
- Holding period is the time since each token's last transfer to its current owner, grouped into bands.
- ANIME claimed is read from the claim contract's events on Arbitrum over the claim window, against the allocation the contract was funded with.

## Data it needs

- `nft_sales_daily` (to build): NFT sales per collection, marketplace and chain per day: sales, buyers, sellers and volume in the payment token.
- `token_holders_snapshot` (to build): Holder counts, top holders and concentration shares of registry tokens at a pinned block, with contract and exchange labels.
- `airdrop_claims` (to build): Claims from airdrop distributor contracts: eligible amount, claimed amount, claimers and what they did next.
- `native_prices_daily` (to build): Reference prices of major assets read from on-chain oracle feeds (Chainlink latestRoundData) at each day's last block, with each round's update time.
- Source: Marketplace fill events for the Azuki, Azuki Elementals and BEANZ contracts on Ethereum
- Source: ERC-721 Transfer logs of the three collections, checked against ownerOf at a pinned block
- Source: ANIME claim contract events on Arbitrum and ANIME Transfer logs on Ethereum and Arbitrum
- Source: Chainlink ETH/USD at each sale block, for USD values

## Questions

### What is the Azuki floor price?

The cheapest Azuki listed for sale. Because most listings are off-chain orders, the dashboard reports the lowest and median prices Azuki actually sold for in the last week, which anyone can verify from the sale transactions.

### What is ERC-721A?

An implementation of the ERC-721 standard written by the Azuki team for its 2022 mint. It records ownership once per batch instead of once per token, so minting several NFTs in one transaction costs little more than minting one, and ownership is filled in when tokens later move.

### What are Azuki Elementals and BEANZ?

BEANZ is a companion collection that Azuki holders could claim in 2022, and Azuki Elementals is a larger collection released in 2023. Both trade separately from Azuki and are shown beside it.

### How does ANIME relate to Azuki?

ANIME is a token launched in January 2025 by the Animecoin Foundation, with Azuki as an early backer. Holders of Azuki, Elementals and BEANZ could claim it on Arbitrum during a set window; the dashboard counts what was claimed and what was left unclaimed.

### How long do Azuki holders hold?

The holding-period chart groups every Azuki by the time since it last moved to its current owner. A collection whose tokens sit for long periods trades less often, which shows in sales counts as much as in prices.

## Glossary

- **ERC-721A**: An ERC-721 implementation from Chiru Labs that stores ownership once per minted batch, making multi-token mints cheaper.
- **Holding period**: The time since an NFT last moved to the wallet that holds it now, read from its most recent transfer.
