**Question:** How much still trades on Blur, how much ETH is left in Blur Pool and how many Blend loans are still open?

Blur is an Ethereum NFT marketplace built for traders. It charged no marketplace fee of its own, funded collection bids from a shared ETH pool called Blur Pool and ran Blend, a peer-to-peer lending protocol for NFTs. All three run on contracts, so sales, the pool's balance and every loan can be read directly from Ethereum.

In October 2026 Blur said it would retire its blur.io website on November 12, 2026, keep its marketplace contracts live on-chain and stop matching new Blend loans on that date. This dashboard follows what happens next: which sales still settle through Blur's contracts, how fast ETH leaves Blur Pool and how many Blend loans borrowers repay or let default.

## Blueprint

### Marketplace

Sales through Blur's contracts and the ETH in Blur Pool.

- **Sales value** (ETH): Value of NFT sales settled through Blur's exchange contracts on the latest complete day, wash trades excluded.
- **Sales** (count): Sales through Blur's contracts on the latest complete day, wash trades excluded.
- **Sold into bids** (%): Share of the latest week's sales that sold into a collection or trait bid funded from Blur Pool.
- **ETH in Blur Pool** (ETH): ETH held by the Blur Pool contract at the latest day's last block.
- **Sales by day** (ETH): Daily sales value and sale count through Blur's contracts over the period, with November 12, 2026 marked.
- **Blur Pool deposits and withdrawals** (ETH): ETH deposited into and withdrawn from Blur Pool per day, with the pool's balance at each day end.

### Blend loans

Open loans, what is owed on them and how loans are ending.

- **Open Blend loans** (count): Blend loans open at the latest day's last block.
- **Owed on open loans** (ETH): Principal plus accrued interest owed on open Blend loans at the latest day's last block.
- **How loans ended** (count): Blend loans closed per week by outcome: repaid, refinanced to a new lender or seized after an auction.
- **Open loans by collection**: Collections with open Blend loans, with the number of loans, the amount owed, the median rate and loans in auction.

Filters: Period (Last 30 days, 90 days, 12 months or all time).

## How it will be measured

- Sales are decoded from the execution events of Blur's exchange contracts on Ethereum, pairing each NFT transfer with its payment in ETH or Blur Pool ETH.
- Blur Pool's balance is the ETH the pool contract holds at each day's last block; deposits and withdrawals are read from its events, so outflows show bid liquidity leaving.
- Blend loans are rebuilt from Blend's events: a loan opens when an offer is taken, moves to a new lender on refinance and closes on repayment or when a lender seizes the NFT after an auction with no taker.
- The amount owed on an open loan is its principal plus interest accrued at the loan's rate up to the day's last block, in ETH.
- Wash trades, such as sales between wallets that funded each other, are flagged and left out of the headline volume, which matters on a market built around trading rewards.

## Data it needs

- `nft_sales_daily` (to build): NFT sales per collection, marketplace and chain per day: sales, buyers, sellers and volume in the payment token.
- `lending_markets_daily` (to build): Supply, borrow, utilization and rates per lending market (Aave, Morpho, Spark, Compound, Euler and others) at day end.
- `native_prices_daily` (to build): Reference prices of major assets read from on-chain oracle feeds (Chainlink latestRoundData) at each day's last block, with each round's update time.
- Source: Execution events of Blur's exchange contracts on Ethereum, with the NFT transfers and payments in the same transactions
- Source: Blur Pool deposit and withdrawal events and the pool's ETH balance at day-end blocks
- Source: Blend events for loans taken, repaid, refinanced, auctioned and seized, with each loan's rate and principal
- Source: Chainlink ETH/USD at the same blocks, for USD values

## Questions

### Is Blur shutting down?

Blur said in October 2026 that it would retire its blur.io website on November 12, 2026 and that Blend would stop matching new loans then. It also said its marketplace contracts stay live on-chain, so any trade that still settles through them keeps being counted here.

### What happens to open Blend loans?

Blur said borrowers had until the website closed to repay their loans or let them default, and that it would later offer a tool to withdraw assets from Blend. The dashboard counts loans open, repaid and seized each day from Blend's events.

### What is Blur Pool?

A contract that holds ETH deposited by traders to fund bids on Blur and loans on Blend. Its balance measures the bid liquidity Blur's users committed, and its withdrawals show that liquidity leaving.

### How do Blend loans work?

Blend loans have no fixed term. A borrower pledges an NFT and pays interest until repaying. A lender can exit by starting an auction for a new lender; if nobody takes the loan over in time, the lender can seize the NFT.

### Does Blur charge a fee?

Blur built its market on charging no fee of its own, with creator royalties paid where collections required them. Blur said BLUR holders keep control of the fee switch; any protocol fee would appear as its own payment in each execution, which the dashboard reads.

## Glossary

- **Blend**: Blur's peer-to-peer NFT lending protocol. Loans have no expiry and end by repayment, by refinance to a new lender or by seizure.
- **Refinancing auction**: A Dutch auction a Blend lender can start to exit a loan: the offered rate rises until a new lender takes the loan over or time runs out.
- **Collection bid**: An offer to buy any item in a collection at a set price, funded from Blur Pool, which any holder can sell into.
