**Question:** How much is restaked on EigenLayer with which operators and AVSs, and has anyone been slashed?

- Kind: Dashboard in Voltfin Vantage
- Topic: [Staking and restaking](https://voltfincrypto.com/topics/staking)
- Chains: Ethereum
- Status: Planned. The data is not published yet, so this page states no figure; each figure will open its receipt when it is.

EigenLayer lets stakers put ETH, liquid staking tokens and other assets to a second use. They delegate them to operators, who run services called AVSs and accept that the stake can be slashed if they break those services' rules. This dashboard follows that chain of custody through EigenLayer's own contracts: what is deposited, who it is delegated to, which services it secures and what has been slashed.

Natively restaked ETH sits in EigenPods that validators' withdrawals point to, while tokens sit in strategy contracts. Both are counted from contract state at a pinned block, never from self-reported totals. Slashing and withdrawals are read event by event, so each change in the total has a transaction behind it.

Use it to see how concentrated delegation is among operators, how much stake each AVS can actually slash and how much is on its way out through the withdrawal queue.

## Blueprint

### Restaked assets

What is restaked in native ETH and token strategies, and what is leaving.

- **Total restaked** (USD): Assets restaked on EigenLayer at the latest day-end block, native ETH plus every strategy, valued at oracle prices at that block.
- **Natively restaked ETH** (ETH): Beacon chain ETH restaked through EigenPods, from EigenPodManager pod shares at the same block.
- **Slashed since launch of slashing** (USD): Stake slashed since slashing went live, summed from OperatorSlashed events and valued at the block of each event.
- **Queued withdrawals** (USD): Shares in queued withdrawals not yet completed, converted to underlying tokens and valued at oracle prices.
- **Restaked assets by day** (USD): Restaked assets at each day-end block, split into native ETH and each token strategy.

### Operators, AVSs and slashing

Who the stake is delegated to, which AVSs it secures and every slashing event.

- **Operators with stake** (count): Operators with delegated stake at the latest day-end block.
- **Top five operators' share** (%): Share of all delegated stake held by the five operators with the most stake.
- **Slashable stake by AVS** (USD): Stake allocated to each AVS's operator sets at the latest day-end block: the amount that AVS can slash.
- **Operators by delegated stake**: Operators ranked by delegated stake, with their share of the total, the AVSs they are registered with and how much of their stake is allocated.
- **Every slashing event**: Each OperatorSlashed event with its date, operator, AVS, strategies, share of stake taken and transaction.

Filters: Asset (All assets, native ETH or one token strategy); Period (Last 30 days, last 90 days or since launch).

## How it will be measured

- Token restaking is each strategy's shares in the StrategyManager at the last block of each day, converted to underlying tokens with the strategy's own sharesToUnderlying rate.
- Native restaking is EigenPodManager pod shares, which follow the beacon chain balances that EigenPods have proven, penalties included.
- Delegation comes from DelegationManager operator share events and view calls, and AVS security from AllocationManager allocations to each operator set.
- Slashing is read from AllocationManager OperatorSlashed events with the share of allocated stake taken; withdrawals are queued and completed events, which wait out a delay of about 14 days set in the contracts.
- USD values use on-chain oracle prices at the same block, and every figure carries a receipt: the block, its hash and the calls or logs behind it.

## Data it needs

- `restaking_daily` (to build): Assets restaked per restaking protocol, strategy and operator per day, and what is delegated to each service.
- `lst_rates_daily` (to build): Exchange rates of liquid staking and restaking tokens (wstETH, rETH, cbETH, weETH and others) at day end, and the realized yield they imply.
- `native_prices_daily` (to build): Reference prices of major assets read from on-chain oracle feeds (Chainlink latestRoundData) at each day's last block, with each round's update time.
- `address_labels` (to build): Labels for known addresses: exchanges, bridges, protocols, funds, treasuries, sanctioned addresses and known attackers.
- Source: StrategyManager Deposit events and per-strategy shares at day-end blocks
- Source: EigenPodManager pod shares for natively restaked ETH
- Source: DelegationManager OperatorSharesIncreased, OperatorSharesDecreased and withdrawal queued and completed events
- Source: AllocationManager AllocationUpdated and OperatorSlashed events per operator set
- Source: RewardsCoordinator AVS rewards submission events
- Source: Each strategy's underlying token balance and sharesToUnderlying at the same block

## Questions

### What is restaking on EigenLayer?

Restaking means using staked ETH or other assets to secure services beyond Ethereum itself. Stakers deposit into EigenLayer and delegate to an operator; the operator registers for AVSs and allocates part of the delegated stake to them, where it can be slashed if the operator breaks their rules.

### What is an AVS?

An actively validated service is a network or protocol, such as a data availability layer, an oracle or a bridge, that uses restaked assets as its security. It defines what its operators must do and can slash the stake allocated to it when they fail.

### Has anyone been slashed on EigenLayer?

Slashing went live on mainnet in April 2025, through operator sets and unique stake. The operators page lists every OperatorSlashed event with its operator, AVS, strategies and the share of stake taken, and an empty list means no event was found up to the pinned block.

### How long does an EigenLayer withdrawal take?

A withdrawal is queued first and can be completed only after a delay set in the contracts, about 14 days, during which the stake can still be slashed. The dashboard shows how much is queued and when it becomes completable.

### What is native restaking with an EigenPod?

A validator whose withdrawal credentials point to an EigenPod restakes its beacon chain ETH without a token. The pod proves the validator's balance to EigenLayer, and its shares rise or fall with those proofs, including any beacon chain penalties.

## Glossary

- **Operator**: An entity that runs software for AVSs and receives delegated stake from restakers. Its allocations decide how much of that stake each AVS can slash.
- **Operator set**: A group of operators an AVS defines for one task, with the strategies it accepts and the slashing rules that apply to stake allocated to it.
- **EigenPod**: A contract that a validator's withdrawal credentials point to, so its beacon chain ETH can be restaked in EigenLayer without a token.
- **Unique stake**: The part of an operator's delegated stake allocated to one operator set. Only that AVS can slash it, so one service's slashing cannot reach stake allocated to another.
