**Question:** How much supply do non-dollar stablecoins have, by currency and chain?

- Kind: Dashboard in Voltfin Vantage
- Topic: [Stablecoins](https://voltfincrypto.com/topics/stablecoins)
- Chains: Multi-chain, Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Avalanche, Gnosis, Celo, Solana, Stellar
- Status: Planned. The data is not published yet, so this page states no figure; each figure will open its receipt when it is.

Most stablecoins track the US dollar, but a growing set track other currencies: the euro, the Japanese yen, the Brazilian real, the British pound, the Swiss franc, the Singapore dollar and others. This dashboard reads every tracked non-USD stablecoin's supply from its contracts in the coin's own currency and groups the coins by the currency they are pegged to.

Each currency is measured in its own unit first, because adding a yen coin to a euro coin only makes sense after conversion. For comparisons, supply is converted to US dollars with on-chain exchange rate feeds at the same block, and the feed used is named beside each figure. Euro coins have a page of their own; here they are one currency among several.

Local rules shape this market. Japan's licensed yen coins, such as JPYC launched in October 2025, Brazil's real coins and the euro coins issued under the EU's MiCA rules each grew under their own regulator. The coins page records who issues each one and under which license, with the public source for it.

## Blueprint

### Currencies

Supply by peg currency, in its own unit and in USD.

- **Non-USD supply in USD** (USD): Supply of every tracked non-USD stablecoin, converted to US dollars at on-chain exchange rates of the same block.
- **Peg currencies** (count): Peg currencies with at least one tracked coin in circulation.
- **Share outside the euro** (%): The share of non-USD supply, in US dollars, pegged to currencies other than the euro.
- **Change, 90 days** (%): Change in non-USD supply over the last 90 days, converted at the latest exchange rates so currency moves are left out.
- **Supply by currency** (USD): Supply by peg currency by day, converted to US dollars at each day's exchange rates.
- **Every peg currency**: Each peg currency with supply in its own unit, supply in USD, coins, chains and 90-day change.

### Coins and chains

Every non-USD coin, its issuer and the chains it lives on.

- **Coins tracked** (count): Non-USD stablecoins with supply on the selected chains.
- **Largest coin's share** (%): The share of the selected currency's supply held by its largest coin, and which coin it is.
- **Supply by chain** (USD): Non-USD supply on each chain, converted to US dollars at the same block's exchange rates.
- **Every non-USD coin**: Each coin with peg currency, issuer, license, chains, supply in its own unit and holders.

Filters: Currency (All currencies, or one of EUR, JPY, BRL, GBP, CHF, SGD and every other tracked peg); Chain (Every chain with a tracked coin, or all chains).

## How it will be measured

- Supply is each coin's totalSupply() at the last block of the day on every EVM chain it is issued on, plus the issued amount on Solana and Stellar, in the coin's own currency.
- Coins are grouped by the peg currency the stablecoin registry records for them, and a currency's total adds only coins pegged to it.
- US dollar values use Chainlink exchange rate feeds such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD and JPY/USD at the same block; a currency without an on-chain feed is shown in its own unit only.
- Issuer and license come from each issuer's public disclosures and its regulator's register, recorded with the date they were checked.

## Data it needs

- `stablecoin_supply_daily` (published): Native supply of each USD and EUR stablecoin on each covered chain at the chain's last block of each day, from totalSupply() reads, with bridged copies kept apart.
- `stablecoin_supply_totals_daily` (published): Each chain's native stablecoin supply per peg per day, added up from the per-token rows, never mixing pegs or native and bridged supply.
- `stablecoins` (published): Every tracked stablecoin contract: issuer, peg, chain, decimals and whether it is native or bridged.
- `native_prices_daily` (to build): Reference prices of major assets read from on-chain oracle feeds (Chainlink latestRoundData) at each day's last block, with each round's update time.
- `token_transfers_daily` (to build): ERC-20 and native transfer counts, volume and unique senders and receivers per token per chain per day.
- Source: totalSupply() of every non-USD stablecoin at day-end blocks on each EVM chain
- Source: Issued amounts on Solana and Stellar for coins issued there
- Source: Chainlink EUR/USD, GBP/USD, JPY/USD, CHF/USD and other exchange rate feeds at the same block
- Source: Issuers' disclosures and regulators' registers, recorded with their date

## Questions

### What is a non-USD stablecoin?

A stablecoin that tracks a currency other than the US dollar, such as the euro, the yen or the Brazilian real. It is usually issued by a licensed firm in that currency's home market and backed by deposits or government debt in the same currency.

### What is JPYC?

JPYC is a yen stablecoin issued by JPYC Inc. under Japan's rules for electronic payment instruments, launched in October 2025 on Ethereum, Avalanche and Polygon. It is backed by yen deposits and Japanese government bonds and redeemable for yen.

### Are there Brazilian real stablecoins?

Yes. Several real-pegged coins are issued by Brazilian firms, BRZ and BBRL among them, and are used for payments and trading pairs in Brazil. The dashboard lists every real coin it tracks with its issuer and chains.

### Why are non-USD stablecoins so small next to dollar stablecoins?

Most on-chain trading and lending is priced in dollars, so dollar coins have the deepest liquidity, and many holders outside the United States want dollars in particular. Non-USD coins grow mainly where local payments, regulation or foreign exchange needs give them a use.

### Why are values shown in two currencies?

Each coin's supply is exact in its own currency, while its US dollar value depends on an exchange rate. Showing both keeps the read exact and makes comparison possible, with the rate's source and block named.

## Glossary

- **Peg currency**: The currency a stablecoin is designed to track, such as EUR for a euro coin.
- **FX feed**: An on-chain oracle feed that publishes the exchange rate between two currencies, such as EUR/USD.
