**Question:** How much PUMP has pump.fun bought back with its fees?

- Kind: Dashboard in Voltfin Vantage
- Topic: [Memecoins and launches](https://voltfincrypto.com/topics/memecoins)
- Chains: Solana
- Status: Planned. The data is not published yet, so this page states no figure; each figure will open its receipt when it is.

pump.fun uses revenue from its fees to buy its PUMP token on the open market, through wallets it has disclosed, and it has burned tokens it bought. This dashboard reads those wallets directly: the revenue that flows in from fee accounts, the swaps into PUMP and where the bought PUMP goes next, to a burn or to a wallet that holds it.

Read the share of fees spent on buybacks against what the program has announced, and the PUMP bought so far against total supply. Announced policies change over time; the dashboard shows what the wallets actually did, day by day, with every swap and burn linked to its transaction.

## Blueprint

### Buybacks

What was spent and bought on the latest day and over time.

- **Spent on buybacks, latest day** (SOL): Value spent on PUMP buybacks on the latest complete day, from the disclosed buyback wallets' swaps.
- **PUMP bought, latest day** (PUMP): PUMP received by the buyback wallets from those swaps on the latest complete day.
- **Share of fees spent** (%): Buyback spend as a share of the fees pump.fun's fee accounts received over the last 30 days.
- **Average price paid** (USD): Average price paid per PUMP in the latest complete day's buyback swaps.
- **Buybacks against fees by day** (SOL): Value spent on buybacks per day beside the fees received, over the selected period.
- **Latest buyback swaps**: The latest buyback swaps: time, wallet, amount spent, PUMP received, price paid and transaction.

### Supply

PUMP burned, PUMP still held and total supply.

- **PUMP bought since buybacks began** (PUMP): PUMP bought by the disclosed buyback wallets since the first buyback swap.
- **PUMP burned** (PUMP): PUMP destroyed by burn instructions from the buyback wallets since buybacks began.
- **Bought PUMP: burned or held** (PUMP): PUMP bought back so far, split into the part burned and the part still held in buyback wallets.
- **PUMP supply by day** (PUMP): PUMP mint supply at the last slot of each day, with each burn marked at its slot.

Filters: Period (Last 7, 30 or 90 days, or since buybacks began); Unit (SOL, or USD at each day's oracle price).

## How it will be measured

- Buybacks are swaps into PUMP signed by the buyback wallets pump.fun has disclosed, read from their transactions on Solana and listed with the source that names each wallet.
- Fee revenue is the SOL that reaches pump.fun's fee accounts from bonding-curve trades and PumpSwap, and the share spent is buybacks divided by that revenue over the same days.
- Burns are PUMP destroyed by SPL burn instructions from the buyback wallets, which lower the mint's supply; PUMP moved to other accounts is shown as held, not burned.
- PUMP supply is the mint's supply at the last slot of each day, and every figure names the slots and transactions it was read from.
- USD values use the day's SOL/USD oracle price, and PUMP bought is valued at the average price paid in each day's buyback swaps.

## Data it needs

- `protocol_revenue_daily` (to build): Fees users paid to each protocol and the part kept by the protocol or its token holders, per protocol and day, including buybacks.
- `treasury_balances_daily` (to build): Balances of DAO, protocol and multisig treasuries per asset at day end, and their inflows and outflows.
- `dex_swaps_daily` (to build): Swap counts and volume per DEX, pool and chain per day, decoded from Swap events, valued with stablecoin legs and oracle prices.
- `token_supply_daily` (to build): Total supply of each registry token on each chain at day end: wrapped BTC, liquid staking tokens, tokenized assets and other tracked tokens.
- `native_prices_daily` (to build): Reference prices of major assets read from on-chain oracle feeds (Chainlink latestRoundData) at each day's last block, with each round's update time.
- Source: Swap transactions into PUMP signed by pump.fun's disclosed buyback wallets on Solana
- Source: PUMP SPL burn instructions and transfers out of the buyback wallets
- Source: SOL inflows to pump.fun's bonding-curve and PumpSwap fee accounts per day
- Source: PUMP mint supply at the last slot of each day
- Source: Chainlink SOL/USD feed at day-end blocks for USD values

## Questions

### Does pump.fun buy back PUMP?

Yes. pump.fun has run buybacks of PUMP funded by its revenue since soon after the token launched, through wallets it has disclosed. The share of revenue used has changed over time; this dashboard reads what the wallets actually spent each day.

### Are bought-back PUMP tokens burned?

Some have been. pump.fun has burned PUMP it bought and has announced that buybacks would be burned as they are made. The dashboard separates PUMP burned, which lowers supply, from PUMP still held in a wallet, which could be moved again.

### How much of pump.fun's revenue goes to buybacks?

The announced share has changed over time. The dashboard divides each day's buyback spend by the fees that reached pump.fun's fee accounts that day, so the measured share can be compared with whatever share is announced.

### Where does pump.fun's revenue come from?

Mostly from fees on trades: on the bonding curves where tokens launch and on PumpSwap, where graduated tokens trade. Fees are paid in SOL into accounts named by the programs, which is what this dashboard counts as revenue.

### Do buybacks support the PUMP price?

Buybacks add buying, but the price also depends on selling, unlocks and the wider market. The dashboard does not model price effects; it shows how much was bought and burned, so readers can weigh that against supply and trading volume themselves.

## Glossary

- **Buyback**: A protocol using its revenue to buy its own token on the open market.
- **Burn**: Destroying tokens with a burn instruction, which lowers the token's total supply for good.
- **PUMP**: pump.fun's own token on Solana, which its buyback program buys with protocol revenue.
