**Question:** How much trades on Raydium, how many LaunchLab tokens graduate and how much RAY do its fees buy back?

- Kind: Dashboard in Voltfin Vantage
- Topic: [DeFi](https://voltfincrypto.com/topics/defi)
- Chains: Solana
- Status: Planned. The data is not published yet, so this page states no figure; each figure will open its receipt when it is.

Raydium is one of Solana's main AMMs and runs three pool programs. AMM v4 holds its original constant-product pools and CPMM pools support Token-2022 tokens without an order book market, while CLMM pools concentrate liquidity in price ranges with fee tiers. This dashboard reads every swap in all three, with the fee each pool charged and the liquidity it holds at the end of each day.

A fixed share of every swap fee goes to buying RAY on the open market, and the RAY bought is held at a public address, so the buyback can be counted swap by swap rather than taken from an announcement. LaunchLab, Raydium's launchpad, starts tokens on a bonding curve and moves them into a Raydium pool when the curve fills; the launches page counts launches, graduations and the trading that follows.

## Blueprint

### Swaps

Volume, fees and liquidity across Raydium's three pool programs.

- **Volume, latest day** (USD): Swap volume across every Raydium pool on the latest complete UTC day.
- **Fees, latest day** (USD): Trading fees paid on the latest complete day, before the split between providers, buybacks and the treasury.
- **TVL** (USD): Tokens held in Raydium pool vaults at the latest day's last slot.
- **CLMM share of volume** (%): Volume in CLMM pools as a share of all Raydium volume over the selected period.
- **Volume by program** (USD): Daily volume over the period, stacked by AMM v4, CPMM and CLMM.
- **Largest pools**: Each pool's pair, program, fee rate, volume, fees and liquidity over the selected period.

### Buybacks and launches

RAY bought with fees, and LaunchLab's launches and graduations.

- **RAY bought, 30 days** (RAY): RAY transferred into the buyback address over the last thirty days.
- **RAY held from buybacks** (RAY): RAY held at the buyback address at the latest day's last slot.
- **Launches and graduations** (count): LaunchLab tokens created each day and how many graduated to a Raydium pool.
- **Buybacks by day** (RAY): RAY bought each day over the period, with the fees that funded it.

Filters: Pool program (AMM v4, CPMM, CLMM or all); Period (Last 7, 30 or 90 days).

## How it will be measured

- Volume comes from the swap instructions and logs of Raydium's AMM v4, CPMM and CLMM programs, valued at the stablecoin leg or at SOL's on-chain oracle price for SOL pairs, and counted once per pool.
- Fees are each pool's fee rate times the swap input; the shares for liquidity providers, RAY buybacks and the treasury follow each program's split, read from the pools' fee accounts.
- RAY buybacks are the RAY transfers into the buyback address, matched to the fee withdrawals that funded them, and the RAY held there is read at each day's last slot.
- LaunchLab launches and graduations are read from the LaunchLab program's pool creation and migration instructions; a token graduates when its liquidity lands in a Raydium pool.

## Data it needs

- `dex_swaps_daily` (to build): Swap counts and volume per DEX, pool and chain per day, decoded from Swap events, valued with stablecoin legs and oracle prices.
- `defi_tvl_daily` (to build): Assets deposited in DeFi protocols per protocol, chain and asset at day end, valued with oracle prices, never double counting receipt tokens.
- `protocol_revenue_daily` (to build): Fees users paid to each protocol and the part kept by the protocol or its token holders, per protocol and day, including buybacks.
- `token_launches_daily` (to build): New tokens deployed per chain and launchpad per day, how many reached a DEX pool, and how many were abandoned.

## Questions

### How does Raydium's RAY buyback work?

A fixed share of the trading fee on every swap is set aside and used to buy RAY on the market. The RAY bought is held at a public address, so the dashboard counts purchases from transfers and shows the balance at each day's end, instead of relying on announced totals.

### What is the difference between AMM v4, CPMM and CLMM?

AMM v4 is Raydium's original constant-product pool, which historically linked to an order book market. CPMM is a newer constant-product pool with no market account that also supports Token-2022 tokens. CLMM pools concentrate liquidity in price ranges with fee tiers, like Uniswap v3.

### What is Raydium LaunchLab?

Raydium's token launchpad. A new token trades on a bonding curve until enough has been bought, then its liquidity migrates into a Raydium pool and ordinary trading begins. The dashboard counts launches, the share that graduate and the volume graduated tokens trade.

### Is Raydium volume the same as Solana DEX volume?

No. Raydium is one of several Solana DEXs, alongside Orca, Meteora and others, and aggregators route trades across all of them. This dashboard counts only swaps that executed in Raydium's programs.

### How is Raydium volume valued?

A swap with a stablecoin leg takes that leg's value. Other swaps are valued through their SOL leg at SOL's price from an on-chain oracle at the same slot, so memecoin pairs are valued by what was paid in SOL rather than by the token's own quoted price.

## Glossary

- **CPMM**: Raydium's constant-product pool program that needs no order book market and supports Token-2022 tokens.
- **CLMM**: Raydium's concentrated-liquidity pools, where providers choose price ranges and pools have fee tiers.
- **Bonding curve**: A pricing formula that sets a new token's price from how much has been bought, used before the token has a pool.
- **Graduation**: The moment a LaunchLab token's curve fills and its liquidity migrates into a Raydium pool.
