About

What it answers, and for whom.

Stablecoin payments are hard to see in raw transfer data, because trading, bridging and exchange housekeeping produce far more transfers than payments do. This dashboard sets those legs apart and groups what remains by size, from small retail amounts to business-sized payments and large treasury moves, chain by chain.

Size is a useful proxy. A remittance or a card settlement looks different from a market maker rebalancing, and the bands make the difference visible without guessing who sent what. The bands are fixed in USD and the same on every chain, so a chain with many small transfers and a chain with a few large ones compare fairly.

Every count and volume names the transfers it was built from. The labels that set apart exchange, DEX and bridge legs are recorded with their source. An unlabelled address is never assumed to be an exchange.

Method

How it will be measured.

Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

How receipts work →
  1. Transfers are USDT and USDC Transfer logs between addresses on each covered EVM chain, with Tron TRC-20 and Solana SPL transfers read from their own raw layers.
  2. Legs touching labelled exchange wallets, DEX pools and routers or bridges are set apart, as are exchange deposit sweeps, where funds move from a deposit address to the exchange's main wallet.
  3. The remaining transfers are grouped into fixed USD size bands, from small retail amounts to large treasury moves. Each band is counted per chain and day by number, volume and distinct senders.
  4. Transfers between two unlabelled contracts are kept in a group of their own, because they are more often automation than payments.

Questions

Questions people ask.

How big are stablecoin payments compared with all stablecoin transfers?

Most stablecoin transfer volume is trading, bridging and treasury movement rather than payments. The dashboard measures payment-like transfers directly, by chain and size, so the answer comes with its definition rather than as one headline total.

What counts as a payment-sized transfer?

A transfer in the retail or business size bands that does not touch an exchange's own wallets, a DEX or a bridge. Size alone does not prove a payment, so the dashboard shows each band rather than a single total.

Which chain carries the most stablecoin payments?

It depends on the size band. Some chains carry many small transfers and others fewer large ones. The heatmap of chains by size band shows where each kind of payment happens, from the latest complete day back.

Why is Tron included?

Tron carries a large share of all USDT transfers, especially between exchanges and in cross-border flows, so leaving it out would miss much of the activity. Its TRC-20 transfers are read with the same rules as on EVM chains.

Size band
A fixed range of transfer values in USD, the same on every chain.
Deposit sweep
An exchange moving funds from a customer's deposit address to its main wallet: housekeeping rather than a payment.
B2B payment
A payment between businesses, usually larger and less frequent than a retail payment.
