Tensor is a Solana NFT marketplace built for active traders. Listings, bids and automated market maker pools all live in Tensor's programs on Solana, so unlike marketplaces whose order books sit off-chain, its whole market can be read at any slot: what sold, what is bid and how deep each pool is.

This dashboard decodes Tensor's programs to show daily sales and traders, the SOL committed to bids and pools and how each sale was filled: from a listing, a bid or a pool. It also shows which NFT standards trade, from compressed NFTs to programmable ones, and tracks the fees sent to the treasury of the Tensor DAO, which TNSR holders govern.

### Bids, pools and fees

- **SOL in bids and pools** (SOL): SOL committed to open bids and AMM pools at the latest day's last slot, with shared escrow counted once.
- **Fees to the Tensor DAO** (SOL): Fees sent to the Tensor DAO treasury in the period.
- **Sales by NFT standard** (count): Sales in the period by NFT standard: compressed, programmable, Core and legacy token NFTs.
- **Collections and bid depth**: Collections ranked by Tensor sales value, with the SOL bid for each and the price of its best bid.

Filters: Period (Last 7 days, 30 days or 12 months).

## How it will be measured

- Sales are decoded from Tensor's marketplace and AMM program instructions, pairing the NFT moved with the SOL paid, the marketplace fee and any royalty in the same transaction.
- A sale is classed as a listing fill, a bid fill or a pool fill by the instruction that settled it, so bid-side selling can be told apart from buyers lifting listings.
- Bid liquidity is the SOL in bid and pool accounts at the day's last slot. SOL in a shared escrow that backs several bids at once is counted once, not once per bid.
- Compressed NFT sales are matched to their collection through the asset's tree and proof data, since a compressed NFT has no token account of its own.
- Fees to the Tensor DAO are transfers into its treasury addresses, recorded with the instruction that paid them.

## Questions

### How much volume does Tensor do?

The headline is the value of NFT sales settled through Tensor's programs on the latest complete day, in SOL and USD, after removing wash trades. Sale count and distinct traders sit beside it, since one large sale can move value on its own.

### How do Tensor AMM pools work?

A pool holds SOL, NFTs or both for one collection and quotes prices on a curve: each purchase from the pool raises its next price and each sale into it lowers its next bid. Traders use pools to make two-sided markets without placing every order by hand.

### What is a shared escrow on Tensor?

An account whose SOL can back several bids and pools at once, so a trader does not lock separate SOL for each one. When one bid fills, the others can become unfunded, which is why the dashboard counts escrowed SOL once.

### What is TNSR?

TNSR is Tensor's governance token. Its holders vote on the protocol's fees and on how the Tensor DAO treasury is spent; the dashboard shows the fees flowing into that treasury rather than the token's price.

### Can compressed NFTs be traded on Tensor?

Yes. Compressed NFTs store their ownership in a Merkle tree rather than in token accounts, which makes minting them cheap. Tensor settles their trades with proofs against the tree, and they are shown as their own standard here.

## Glossary

- **Compressed NFT**: A Solana NFT whose ownership is a leaf in an on-chain Merkle tree, which makes it far cheaper to mint than a standard token.
- **Programmable NFT**: A Solana NFT standard whose transfers pass through rules set by the creator, used mainly to enforce royalties.
- **AMM pool**: A pool that buys and sells items of one collection automatically along a price curve set by its owner.
