About

What it answers, and for whom.

Tokenized stocks are tokens that track a share or an ETF and are backed by the underlying, held by the issuer or its custodian. Issuers now offer stock tokens for many of the largest US shares and ETFs, often several for the same share on different chains, with different structures and rules. This table lists each token on each chain so they can be told apart and compared.

Each row names the underlying share and the issuer, the token's structure, such as a tracker certificate or a fund share, how it handles dividends and splits and who may hold and transfer it. It also gives the token's supply and holders on the chain today, read from the token contract, and supply times the share's last close gives the value held on-chain.

Method

How it will be measured.

Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

How receipts work →
  1. Each token comes from the RWA registry, built from issuer documentation, and is confirmed on-chain by its name(), symbol() and decimals().
  2. Supply is totalSupply() at the latest day-end block on each chain, adjusted by the token's multiplier where the issuer reflects dividends and splits through one.
  3. Holders are addresses with a non-zero balance at the same block; transfer rules are read from the contract's allowlist or restriction functions and checked against the issuer's terms.
  4. The share price used for value is the underlying's last close from a cited market source, labelled off-chain, or an on-chain oracle price where the issuer posts one.

Questions

Questions people ask.

Are tokenized stocks the same as owning the share?

Usually not. Most stock tokens give a claim on the issuer, which holds the share, rather than registered ownership with voting rights. The structure column says what each token is, from the issuer's terms.

Why are there several tokens for the same stock?

Different issuers tokenize the same popular shares, and each issuer may deploy on several chains. The tokens are not interchangeable: they have different issuers, terms, redemption rules and holders, so the table lists each separately.

How do tokenized stocks handle dividends and splits?

Issuers either reinvest dividends by raising a multiplier that scales each token's value, or pay them out in another token. Splits are handled the same way. The dividends column states each token's method.

Which chains have the most tokenized stocks?

Issuers have launched on Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum and their own or partner chains. Filter the table by chain to see which tokens live there, and sort by value to see where the most is held.

How do I find the official contract for a stock token?

Use the issuer's documentation and check the address on the chain. The table takes each contract from a registry built from issuer documentation and confirms it on-chain; a token with the same name at another address is not the issuer's token.

Tracker certificate
A debt security whose value follows an underlying asset, backed by the issuer's holdings of that asset.
Multiplier
A factor some stock tokens apply to balances, so dividends and splits change each token's value rather than the number of tokens.
