About

What it answers, and for whom.

Memecoins trade on many chains, and their market caps are usually quoted as a price times a supply that nobody shows. This table reads each memecoin's supply from its token contract, takes its price from the DEX pools where it trades and multiplies the two, so every market cap can be traced to the reads behind it.

Sort it to see the largest memecoins or filter it by chain, and read each row's price source and liquidity beside its market cap: a thinly traded token can show a large value that no one could sell into. Coins that live on chains outside coverage are listed with their price source labelled, never mixed in silently.

Method

How it will be measured.

Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

How receipts work →
  1. Supply is totalSupply() at the day's last block for ERC-20 memecoins and the mint's supply for SPL memecoins, minus balances held at burn addresses, kept as an exact amount.
  2. Circulating supply also leaves out wallets a token's team documents as locked or reserved, and each exclusion is listed with its source.
  3. Price comes from the deepest DEX pool for each token: Uniswap and PancakeSwap pool state on EVM chains (slot0 sqrtPriceX96 against WETH or WBNB) and Raydium or PumpSwap reserves on Solana, converted to USD with oracle feeds.
  4. Coins native to chains outside coverage, such as Dogecoin, use a labelled off-chain price and supply until those chains are read directly.
  5. A token is listed when a reviewed registry classes it as a memecoin, and every row carries the block, pool and reads behind its market cap as its receipt.

Questions

Questions people ask.

What is a memecoin?

A token whose value rests on community, culture or a joke rather than on cash flows or a product. Many launch through launchpads with a fixed supply and no team allocation; a few, such as Dogecoin, run on chains of their own.

How is a memecoin's market cap calculated?

Circulating supply times price. Here supply is read from the token contract at the day's last block, minus burned and documented locked balances, and price from the deepest DEX pool, converted to USD with an on-chain oracle. Both reads are linked on each row.

Why can a memecoin's market cap be misleading?

Price is set by the last trades in a pool. If the pool is shallow, a modest buy can move the price a lot and multiply the market cap, even though selling at that price would be impossible. The table shows liquidity next to market cap so the two can be read together.

What is the difference between market cap and fully diluted value?

Market cap uses the circulating supply; fully diluted value uses the total supply, including tokens that are locked or not yet released. For many memecoins the two are close, because the whole supply circulates from launch.

Which chains are covered?

Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base, where most memecoins trade, read directly from their contracts and pools. Memecoins on other chains appear with a labelled off-chain source until those chains are read.

Market cap
Circulating supply times price: what all circulating tokens would be worth at the latest price.
Circulating supply
Total supply minus tokens burned and tokens held in documented locked or reserved wallets.
Liquidity
The value held in a token's DEX pools, which sets how much can be bought or sold before the price moves sharply.
