A token trends on decentralized exchanges when many different wallets start trading it at once. This table ranks DEX pairs by what happened on-chain over the last 24 hours: swaps, volume and distinct traders, with the pool's liquidity and age beside them, on Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Solana.

Volume alone is easy to inflate: one wallet trading back and forth can make a pair look busy. Distinct traders, liquidity and pool age sit beside it so a reader can tell broad interest from a few active wallets, and each row links to the pool contract and the swaps behind it.

Sort by distinct traders instead of volume to see how widely a pair is traded, filter by chain or exchange and open a row to see its swaps and the block range it covers.

## Blueprint

One row: One row per DEX pair on each chain over the selected window, ranked by volume

- **Pair** (`pair`): The pair's two tokens by symbol, linked to the pool contract.
- **Chain** (`chain`): The chain the pool lives on.
- **DEX** (`dex`): The exchange and version the pool belongs to, such as Uniswap v3, Aerodrome or Raydium.
- **Volume** (`volume`, USD): The USD value of the pair's swaps in the window, from the priced leg of each swap.
- **Swaps** (`swaps`): Swap events in the pair during the window.
- **Traders** (`traders`): Distinct addresses that signed swap transactions in the pair during the window.
- **Buy share** (`buy_share`): The share of swaps that bought the pair's non-base token, a read of which side was busier.
- **Price change** (`price_change`): Change in the token's pool price from the window's first swap to its last.
- **Liquidity** (`liquidity`, USD): The pool's liquidity at the latest block, valued at the same prices.
- **Pool created** (`pool_created`): The day the pool was created, from its creation block.
- **Receipt** (`receipt`): The block range and the decoded swaps behind the row.

## How it will be measured

- Swaps are decoded from Uniswap v2, v3 and v4 Swap events on EVM chains, PancakeSwap v2 and v3 on BNB Chain and Aerodrome on Base; on Solana, from Raydium and PumpSwap swap instructions.
- Volume is the USD value of each swap's stablecoin or major-asset leg at an oracle price, summed per pair over the window; a pair with no priced leg shows as unpriced rather than zero.
- Distinct traders count the unique signers of the transactions that swapped in the pair, not the Swap event's sender, which is usually a router shared by many wallets.
- Liquidity is the pool's reserves from getReserves, or its in-range liquidity from slot0 and liquidity, at the latest block, valued the same way; pool age comes from the pool's creation block.
- The window ends at the latest indexed block on each chain, and every row names its first and last block.

## Data it needs

- `dex_swaps_daily` (to build): Swap counts and volume per DEX, pool and chain per day, decoded from Swap events, valued with stablecoin legs and oracle prices.
- `dex_liquidity_daily` (to build): Liquidity held by each DEX pool at day end, in tokens and valued in USD, with fee tier and pool age.
- `token_launches_daily` (to build): New tokens deployed per chain and launchpad per day, how many reached a DEX pool, and how many were abandoned.
- `native_prices_daily` (to build): Reference prices of major assets read from on-chain oracle feeds (Chainlink latestRoundData) at each day's last block, with each round's update time.

## Questions

### How are trending tokens chosen?

By on-chain activity over the window. The table ranks pairs by volume by default and can be sorted by swaps or distinct traders. No pair is picked by hand or promoted.

### Why can trading volume be misleading?

A single wallet can trade with itself, or bots can churn a pool to farm rewards, so volume can be high while few people trade. Distinct traders and liquidity show how broad the activity really is.

### Does a trending token mean it is safe to trade?

No. Trending describes trading activity only. A token can trend while its contract lets the owner mint, freeze balances or block sales; the token safety and honeypot checks read those powers from the contract itself.

### Which chains are covered?

Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Solana to start, each with its main DEXs. Each chain's window ends at its own latest indexed block, which every row names.

### What is a DEX pair?

A pool on a decentralized exchange that holds two tokens and lets anyone swap one for the other at a price set by the pool's reserves or liquidity curve.

## Glossary

- **Pair**: A DEX pool holding two tokens, such as a new token and WETH or SOL, through which swaps between them settle.
- **Distinct traders**: The number of different addresses that signed swap transactions in a pair during the window.
- **Wash trading**: Trading with oneself or a colluding party to make volume look larger than real demand.
