**Question:** How many AI agents launch on Virtuals, and how much do they earn from on-chain jobs?

- Kind: Dashboard in Voltfin Vantage
- Topic: [AI and agents](https://voltfincrypto.com/topics/ai-agents)
- Chains: Base, Solana, Ethereum
- Status: Planned. The data is not published yet, so this page states no figure; each figure will open its receipt when it is.

Virtuals Protocol is a launchpad and marketplace for AI agents. Each agent gets its own token, launched on a bonding curve paired with VIRTUAL, and agents can hire each other for jobs through the Agent Commerce Protocol, which holds the payment in escrow until the work is accepted. This dashboard follows both from Virtuals' contracts on Base: agents launched and graduated, and the jobs and payments that settle between them.

Launch counts show supply; job payments show demand. Virtuals reports a wider measure of agent activity, which it calls agentic GDP, while the jobs page here counts only job payments released from escrow to the agent that did the work, so the narrower figure can be read on its own.

Use it to see how many new agents reach a DEX pool, which agents are paid for work and by how many clients. Every figure is pinned to the block it was read at, with the events it was counted from.

## Blueprint

### Launches

Agents launched, graduated and held.

- **Agents launched** (count): Agent tokens created by the Virtuals factory over the selected period.
- **Agents graduated** (count): Agent tokens that left their bonding curve for a DEX pool over the same period.
- **Graduation rate** (%): Graduated agents as a share of agents launched, with each launch counted in the week it was created.
- **VIRTUAL holders** (count): Addresses holding VIRTUAL at the latest day-end block, leaving out labelled pools and contracts.
- **Launches by day** (count): Agents launched per day, split into those that have graduated and those still on their curve.

### Jobs and payments

Agent Commerce Protocol jobs, escrow and payments released.

- **Jobs completed** (count): ACP jobs whose escrow was released to the provider over the selected period.
- **Job payments released** (USD): The value of escrowed payments released to providers over the same period.
- **Jobs by outcome** (count): Jobs opened over the period by outcome: completed, rejected, expired or still open.
- **Agents paid the most**: Agents ranked by job payments received, with jobs completed and distinct clients.
- **Job payments by day** (USD): Job payments released per day, with Revenue Network distributions shown apart.

Filters: Period (Last 7, 30 or 90 days); Chain (Base, Solana or both).

## How it will be measured

- Launches are token-creation events of Virtuals' agent factory on Base and Solana, with the creator and the bonding curve each agent starts on.
- Graduations are read from the bonding contract and the creation transaction of each agent's DEX pool, the moment the token leaves its curve.
- Jobs and payments come from the Agent Commerce Protocol contracts on Base: job creation, escrow funding, submission of the deliverable and the release or refund of the escrow.
- Revenue Network distributions are read as transfers from its distributor contracts to agent wallets and kept apart from job payments.
- Every figure carries a receipt: the block, its hash and the events it was counted from.

## Data it needs

- `agent_payments_daily` (to build): Agent tokens (supply, holders, trading) and agent payments such as x402 settlements in stablecoins, per day.
- `token_launches_daily` (to build): New tokens deployed per chain and launchpad per day, how many reached a DEX pool, and how many were abandoned.
- `dex_swaps_daily` (to build): Swap counts and volume per DEX, pool and chain per day, decoded from Swap events, valued with stablecoin legs and oracle prices.
- `token_holders_snapshot` (to build): Holder counts, top holders and concentration shares of registry tokens at a pinned block, with contract and exchange labels.

## Questions

### What is Virtuals Protocol?

A platform for launching and running AI agents on-chain, mainly on Base. Each agent has its own token paired with VIRTUAL, and agents can offer services, hire other agents and get paid through its Agent Commerce Protocol.

### What is the Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP)?

ACP is Virtuals' standard for agents doing paid work for each other. A client agent opens a job with a provider and funds the agreed budget into an escrow contract; the payment is released when the deliverable is accepted and refunded when it is rejected or the job expires. Payments settle on-chain on Base.

### What is aGDP on Virtuals?

Agentic GDP is Virtuals' own measure of the economic activity its agents generate. It is wider than the job payments counted here, so this dashboard reports escrowed payments released to providers as a figure of its own and does not reproduce aGDP.

### How does an agent token graduate on Virtuals?

New agent tokens trade on a bonding curve against VIRTUAL. When buyers have put enough VIRTUAL into the curve, the token graduates: a DEX pool is created with the curve's liquidity and the token trades there from then on.

### Do agent launches show real usage?

Not by themselves. Many agent tokens never graduate or trade much after launch. The jobs page shows which agents are actually paid for work, which is a closer measure of use than launches or token prices.

## Glossary

- **Agent token**: The token an agent launches with on Virtuals, paired with VIRTUAL, which trades on a bonding curve and then in a DEX pool.
- **Escrow**: A contract that holds a job's payment until the work is accepted, then pays the provider or refunds the client.
- **Graduation**: When an agent token's bonding curve fills and its liquidity moves to a DEX pool.
- **aGDP**: Agentic GDP, Virtuals' own measure of the value of activity its agents generate, wider than the escrowed job payments counted here.
