Native USD and EUR stablecoin supply on Ethereum at the end of September 2026 against the end of August, from each token's on-chain totalSupply(), with a receipt for every figure.

On 30 September 2026, native USD-pegged stablecoins on Ethereum had a combined supply of ≈ $162.69B, counting each token at one US dollar. On 31 August 2026 the same total was ≈ $162.97B.

Tether's USDT had a supply of ≈ $88.3B and Circle's USDC ≈ $49.3B on 30 September 2026.

EUR-pegged stablecoins are counted separately, in euro units: ≈ 441.35M EUR on 30 September 2026, against ≈ 418.22M EUR on 31 August 2026.

Method

Supply is each token's totalSupply() read at the last block of every UTC day, from the day it was deployed. Totals count native tokens only: bridged copies are listed separately and labeled bridged. A day on which any expected token is missing has no total; it is shown as missing, never as zero. Every figure links to its receipt. The data is licensed CC BY 4.0.

How these figures were derived (1)

Each derived figure's receipt id is sha256 over its sorted input receipt ids, its transform and its value (the warehouse receipt scheme), so it can be recomputed from the receipts listed.
