Bitcoin's chain records what most people want to know about its health: how much hashrate secures it, what it costs to get into a block, how new supply is issued and how long coins sit unmoved. The apps here read those measures from blocks and transactions, block by block, instead of quoting them from somewhere else.

Some of the most searched Bitcoin figures are not on the chain at all, such as spot ETF holdings and company treasuries. Those apps record each figure with the filing or published file it came from, and match it to on-chain addresses where they are disclosed.
