About

What it answers, and for whom.

HyperEVM is the Ethereum-compatible side of the Hyperliquid blockchain: it shares consensus with HyperCore, the engine behind Hyperliquid's order books, and its contracts can read the exchange's state and send it actions. This dashboard reads every HyperEVM block to show daily transactions and active addresses, the gas carried in small and big blocks, the HYPE burned as gas and the assets moving between HyperCore and HyperEVM.

HyperEVM burns all of its gas, base fee and priority fee alike, so HYPE burned equals the fees paid. Assets cross from HyperCore through system addresses, one per linked token, which makes the link between the two sides readable. Stablecoin supply comes from the tables already published. Every figure is pinned to the block it was read at, with a receipt.

Method

How it will be measured.

Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

How receipts work →
  1. Small and big blocks are read alike and counted together per UTC day; the big-block share is the gas used in big blocks as a share of all gas used.
  2. HYPE burned is every gas fee paid, base fee and priority fee together, since HyperEVM burns both instead of paying the priority fee to validators.
  3. Transfers between HyperCore and HyperEVM are transfers to or from the system addresses that link each token on the two sides, counted per token and direction.
  4. Stablecoin supply comes from the live stablecoin tables, each token contract's totalSupply() at the day's last block, and every figure carries a receipt with the block number and hash.

The data it needs

Read from chain state and history

  • chain_activity_dailyTo buildChain activity by dayTransactions, active sending addresses, new addresses, contracts created and gas used on each chain per day, counted from blocks and transactions.
  • chain_fees_dailyTo buildFees and gas by chainFees paid per chain per day in the native token: base fee and priority fee percentiles, total fees, and the share burned where the chain burns fees.
  • bridge_flows_dailyTo buildBridge deposits and withdrawalsDeposits into and withdrawals out of canonical and major third-party bridges by chain, token and day, plus escrow balances at day end.
  • stablecoin_supply_dailyPublishedStablecoin supply by token and chainNative supply of each USD and EUR stablecoin on each covered chain at the chain's last block of each day, from totalSupply() reads, with bridged copies kept apart.
  • HyperEVM blocks, small and big: gas used, gas limit, base fee and timestamp per block, with every transaction's sender, status and effective gas price
  • Transfers to and from the HyperCore system addresses on HyperEVM: the HYPE system address and one address per linked spot token
  • CoreWriter contract events, for the actions HyperEVM contracts send to HyperCore
  • totalSupply() of the stablecoins on HyperEVM at day-end blocks, from the published stablecoin tables
Questions

Questions people ask.

What is HyperEVM?

The EVM part of the Hyperliquid blockchain. It runs Ethereum-style contracts under the same HyperBFT consensus as HyperCore, the part that runs Hyperliquid's order books, and pays gas in HYPE. Contracts can read HyperCore state and send it actions, which links DeFi on HyperEVM to the exchange.

Is HYPE burned on HyperEVM?

Yes. HyperEVM burns the base fee as Ethereum does and burns the priority fee too, rather than paying it to a block producer, so all gas paid is burned. This is separate from the Assistance Fund's HYPE buybacks on HyperCore, which the Hyperliquid revenue page covers.

What are small and big blocks?

HyperEVM produces two kinds of blocks: frequent small blocks with a low gas limit for ordinary transactions, and big blocks at longer intervals with a much higher limit for heavy ones such as contract deployments. Accounts opt in to big blocks, and the dashboard shows how much gas each kind carries.

How do assets move between HyperCore and HyperEVM?

Each linked token has a system address: sending the token there on one side credits the same account on the other. HYPE has its own system address, and every spot token linked to an ERC-20 contract has another. The dashboard counts these transfers by token and direction each day.

Which stablecoins are on HyperEVM?

Several dollar stablecoins are issued or bridged there. The dashboard reads the supply of each from its token contract at day end, from the same published tables as the stablecoin pages, and keeps native and bridged supply apart.

HyperCore
The part of the Hyperliquid blockchain that runs its perpetual and spot order books, margin and vaults.
HyperBFT
Hyperliquid's consensus protocol, which orders blocks for both HyperCore and HyperEVM.
System address
An address on HyperEVM that links a token to HyperCore: tokens sent to it are credited on the other side.
CoreWriter
The HyperEVM contract through which other contracts send actions, such as orders and transfers, to HyperCore.
