Aster is a perpetuals exchange formed from the merger of APX Finance and Astherus, and its ASTER token launched on BNB Chain in 2025. It runs two products: Pro, an order book with hidden orders, and Simple, one-click trading against Aster's liquidity pool at very high leverage. Collateral is deposited from BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum and Solana, and in 2026 Aster launched its own chain, Aster Chain, built for private on-chain trading.
Questions about how much of Aster's reported volume is organic make the source of each figure matter, so this dashboard separates them. Deposits, withdrawals and the liquidity pool are read from Aster's contracts; Pro order book volume, open interest and funding are recorded from Aster's published market data and marked venue-reported; trades that settle on Aster Chain are read from that chain. The share of volume backed by on-chain settlement sits beside the total.
Aster's fees fund ASTER buybacks: under its current program, tokens bought on the market go to veASTER stakers and a matching amount is burned. The buybacks page counts each purchase and burn from the addresses that make them.
Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

A perpetuals exchange that started on BNB Chain, formed when APX Finance and Astherus merged. It offers an order book for active traders and a simpler pool-based mode, accepts collateral from several chains and now also settles trades on its own Aster Chain.
This dashboard cannot see inside Aster's matching engine, so it does not rule on that. It shows how much of the reported volume is backed by on-chain settlement and how volume compares with open interest and deposits over time, so readers can weigh the figures themselves.
Pro is an order book with limit orders, hidden orders and the usual trading tools. Simple lets traders open a position in one click against Aster's liquidity pool, which takes the other side, at leverage far higher than Pro allows.
Aster's own layer 1, launched in 2026 for on-chain derivatives trading, with privacy features that hide order and position details from other users. Trades that settle there are read from the chain itself.
Aster uses its daily fees to buy ASTER on the market. Under the program in place since June 2026, the tokens bought go to veASTER stakers and an equal amount is burned from reserves. The dashboard counts both from the buyback and burn transactions.
