How are DeFi deposits and active loans split between Aave, Morpho, Spark and other lenders?
Deposits and active loans across Aave, Morpho, Spark, Compound, Euler and Fluid, by chain, with each lender's share and how it moves.
The dashboard as it will open in Vantage. Each figure is named here and arrives with its receipt; until its data is published, its place stays empty.
How deposits, loans and each lender's share moved over time.

Deposits and active loans across all covered lenders by day.
Each lender's share of the selected measure by day.
Lending is one of DeFi's largest activities, and a handful of protocols hold most of it. This dashboard measures each lender on two figures read from its contracts: deposits, what suppliers have put in, and active loans, what borrowers currently owe. It shows each protocol's share of both, by chain, and how that share shifts over time.
Deposits and loans are counted where the lending happens. A curated vault that supplies to Morpho markets counts once, in those markets, and a protocol that supplies to another lender is counted in that lender's markets. Every figure is valued at oracle prices at the same block and links to the reads behind it.
Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

Aave has held the largest share of DeFi lending for several years, by deposits and by loans. The dashboard recomputes every lender's share daily from contract state, so the split shown above is the current one, with its receipts.
Deposits show how much capital a lender attracts; active loans show how much of it is used. A protocol can hold large deposits that sit idle, so the two shares can differ; loans say more about borrowing demand.
No. Morpho vaults supply to Morpho markets, so their deposits already appear in those markets' totals. Counting the vaults as well would add the same funds twice.
Value locked usually counts what remains in a lender's contracts, deposits less loans. This dashboard shows deposits and loans separately, which describes the size of each side of the lending business.
The chains where the covered lenders run markets, starting with Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and other large EVM chains. A chain not yet covered is named as missing, never counted as zero.
