What the dashboard will show.

The dashboard as it will open in Vantage. Each figure is named here and arrives with its receipt; until its data is published, its place stays empty.

Holders

How many wallets hold WIF and who is arriving or leaving.

Holders

count

Owner wallets with a non-zero WIF balance at the latest day's last slot, pool vaults left out.

About

What it answers, and for whom.

dogwifhat, or WIF, is a Solana memecoin launched in late 2023 whose mint has no mint authority and no freeze authority, so its supply cannot grow and no holder's account can be frozen. With no protocol burn and no published unlock schedule to follow, the story on-chain is who holds it. This dashboard counts WIF holders by wallet every day and shows how the supply is spread between them.

It also measures how long current holders have held. Each wallet's WIF is aged from the transfers that brought it in, so the page can show how much of the supply has sat still for a month, a quarter or a year: the coin-age idea used for bitcoin, applied to a memecoin. Exchange wallets are labelled and shown apart, because they hold WIF for many customers at once.

Method

How it will be measured.

Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

How receipts work →
  1. Holders are owner wallets whose WIF token accounts add up to a non-zero balance at each day's last slot; DEX pool vaults and burn accounts are left out of the count.
  2. Holding time follows each wallet's balance first in, first out: tokens received earlier count as kept until the wallet sends more than it has received since.
  3. Concentration divides the largest wallets' balances by the mint's supply at the same slot, shown with and without labelled exchanges and pools.
  4. The mint's supply, mint authority and freeze authority are read every day, so the fixed-supply claim is checked rather than assumed.

Questions

Questions people ask.

How many people hold WIF?

The page counts wallets, not people: owner wallets with a non-zero WIF balance at the latest day's last slot. One person can use many wallets and one exchange wallet can hold WIF for many customers, so the count can overstate or understate the number of people.

Can more WIF be minted?

No. The WIF mint has no mint authority, so no new tokens can be created, and no freeze authority, so no holder's account can be frozen. Both fields are read from the mint every day and shown with the slot they were read at.

What share of WIF do the largest wallets hold?

The top 10 and top 100 shares are shown twice: across every wallet, and with labelled exchange wallets and DEX pools left out. The second view is the closer guide to how concentrated ownership is, since exchanges pool many customers' coins.

What does holding time show?

How long the WIF in current wallets has gone without moving. A rising share held for a year or more means fewer coins are changing hands, while a jump in the youngest band means many coins moved recently.

Is WIF on other chains?

WIF is issued on Solana. Any wrapped or bridged copy on another chain is a separate token, and this page reads the Solana mint only, so copies are never added to its figures.

Holding time
How long a wallet's tokens have gone without moving, measured first in, first out from its transfer history.
Freeze authority
A Solana mint setting that lets one key freeze token accounts. A mint without one cannot freeze anyone's tokens.
Token account
The Solana account that holds one wallet's balance of one token; a wallet can own several.
