Gross staking yield
%The annualized reward rate of staked SOL in the latest complete epoch, before validator commission.
What yield does staked SOL earn, and how much SOL is staked?
The yield staked SOL earns each epoch, before and after commission and with MEV tips, beside the share of all SOL that is staked.
The dashboard as it will open in Vantage. Each figure is named here and arrives with its receipt; until its data is published, its place stays empty.
What staked SOL earned in recent epochs, and what the yield is made of.
The annualized reward rate of staked SOL in the latest complete epoch, before validator commission.
The annualized rate stake accounts received in the latest epoch after their validator's commission, as a stake-weighted median.
The protocol's current annual inflation rate, read with getInflationRate at the epoch boundary.
The annualized yield stakers received from MEV tips in the latest epoch, from tip distribution claims.
Gross yield, yield after commission and inflation per epoch over the selected period, so the real yield shows as the gap between them.
How much SOL is staked, and liquid staking yields.
Total activated stake at the latest epoch boundary, from getVoteAccounts.
Activated stake divided by total supply at the same slot.
The share of activated stake delegated to validators at each commission level in the latest epoch.
The largest stake pool tokens, with their SOL exchange rate, their yield over the last 10 epochs and the stake they hold.
Staked SOL earns new SOL from the network's inflation every epoch, shared among stake accounts by their stake and by how well their validator performed, minus the validator's commission. Many validators also pass on part of the MEV tips their blocks collect. This dashboard measures what stakers actually received each epoch, the inflation that funds it and the share of all SOL that is staked.
Read the yield with dilution in mind: inflation rewards are new tokens, so a staker's share of the supply grows only by the amount their yield exceeds inflation. The dashboard shows the gross yield, the yield after commission, the part from MEV tips and the exchange-rate yield of the largest liquid staking tokens, each pinned to the epoch it was read at, with a receipt.
Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

It is the annual rate staked SOL earns, compounded from what stake accounts received each epoch. The dashboard shows it before commission, after commission and with MEV tips, because the rate a staker gets depends on the validator chosen.
Mostly from inflation: the protocol issues new SOL each epoch at an annual rate that falls over time, and splits it among stakers. A smaller part comes from MEV tips and fees that validators share. Half of each base fee is burned, and priority fees go to the block's leader.
A validator keeps its commission, a percentage of the inflation rewards earned by the stake delegated to it, and passes on the rest. A lower commission raises the staker's yield, but a validator that performs poorly or goes offline earns less for everyone delegated to it.
Only in part. Inflation rewards add new SOL for everyone who stakes, so unstaked SOL loses its share of the supply. The real yield is roughly the staking yield minus the inflation rate, which the dashboard shows beside the headline figure.
A liquid staking token represents SOL staked through a stake pool. Rewards are added to the pool, so each token is worth more SOL over time, and the yield shows as a rising exchange rate rather than as new tokens.
