Token Unlocks Monthly Report: Largest Releases

  1. The month's unlocks in brief

How many tokens unlocked, the combined value released, the largest single release and how much of the released supply reached exchanges.

    • Unlocks this month
    • Value released
    • Largest single release
    • Share sent to exchanges within 7 days
  2. The largest releases

Each of the month's largest unlocks with its date, token, amount, share of circulating supply, recipient group and the release transaction.

    • Amount released per unlock
    • Share of circulating supply per unlock
  3. Cliffs and linear releases

How much arrived as one-day cliffs and how much streamed in linearly, and which recipient groups received each.

    • Released in cliffs
    • Released linearly
    • Released by recipient group
  4. Where the released tokens went

Transfers from recipients in the 7 and 30 days after each release: to exchanges, sold on DEXs, staked, held or moved on.

    • Sent to exchanges within 7 days
    • Sold on DEXs within 7 days
    • Still held after 30 days
  5. Schedules against the chain

    • Unlocks verified on-chain
    • Unlocks that differed from schedule
  6. Next month's calendar

The largest unlocks scheduled for the coming month, with their size against circulating supply and their recipients.

About

What it answers, and for whom.

Each month, scheduled unlocks release tokens that had been locked for teams, investors and ecosystem funds. This report reviews the month's largest releases in one dated document: what unlocked, how large each release was against circulating supply and whether it arrived on schedule.

It then follows the released tokens. Using transfers from the recipient addresses in the days after each release, it measures how much moved to exchange wallets, how much was sold on DEXs, how much was staked or held and how much stayed in vesting or treasury addresses.

Every amount is cited to the vesting contract or the transactions behind it, pinned to a block before the report's date, so later movements appear in the next edition.

Method

How it will be measured.

Every figure will be read at a block, kept with its source and its exact read, and open a receipt anyone can re-check.

How receipts work →
  1. An unlock enters the report when its scheduled date falls in the month; its amount comes from the published schedule and, where the tokens sit in a vesting contract, from the contract's release events.
  2. Size against supply divides the released amount by circulating supply at the block before the release.
  3. Released tokens are followed for 7 and 30 days from the recipient addresses: transfers to labelled exchange and deposit addresses, DEX swaps out of the token, staking deposits and transfers elsewhere.
  4. Each figure is pinned to a block before the publication date and cites the contract read or the transactions it was summed from.

Questions

Questions people ask.

What were the biggest token unlocks this month?

Each edition lists the month's largest unlocks by value released, with each token's amount, its share of circulating supply and the transaction that released it.

Do unlocked tokens get sold?

Some do. The report follows released tokens for 7 and 30 days and measures how much moved to exchanges or was swapped on DEXs, against how much was staked or held. The answer differs from token to token.

How are tokens sent to exchanges identified?

Transfers to addresses labelled as exchange wallets or deposit addresses, from published proof-of-reserve lists and observed sweeps, count as sent to an exchange. Transfers to unlabelled addresses are counted as moved, not as sold.

Why measure unlocks against circulating supply?

A release adds to the tokens that can trade, and the same amount matters more when fewer tokens circulate. The share of circulating supply makes releases of different tokens comparable.

When is each edition published?

Each edition covers one calendar month and is published after the month ends, once the 7-day follow-up of the month's last releases is complete. The 30-day follow-up of late releases appears in the next edition.

Unlock
The scheduled release of previously locked tokens to their recipients.
Recipient group
The category that receives an unlock, such as team, investors, advisors, ecosystem fund or treasury.
Deposit address
An address an exchange assigns to one customer; funds sent to it are swept into the exchange's main wallets.
